Go BottomLoader and backhoe for B8200

I have recently purchased kubota b8200 and would like to add a loader and backhoe to it. My usage will be primarily around my own property plowing snow, landscaping and digging an occasional stump or ditch. Can anyone give me some recommendations on loaders and backhoes for this machine? Can i take my 6 1/2" woods frame mount unit from my little yanmar and convert it to a 3pt unit for this machine? Or is a frame mount conversion availabe from kubota? Any and all input is appreciated.

Sure be nice if a sub-frame for the hoe could be found or fabricated for an 8200.
There are various type of 3ph mounting systems. Generally it is important that they lock down to prevent the hoe from raising either from digging pressure or more importantly in event that the 3ph gets bumped into lift while somebody is in the hoe seat. I suppose most anything can be adapted but I would check out various type of 3ph mounting systems.
Bill recently gave a link for his CADCAM plan hoe project and maybe there are some pics of the mounts. My Kelley mounting system uses a plate mounted on the drawbar (close to the support bracket). The plate has mounts for two top-links that run from the plate to either side of the top-link mount on the hoe. These additional top-links stabilize the hoe and also lock down the 3ph. They also probably distribute some of the load to the drawbar. I'd keep in mind that any adaptation that isn't engineered (and probably some that are) has potential for breaking something or having a safety hazard.

Actually your Woods 650 will fit fine on your B8200, even on the 3pt bars. Kubota makes the package for either a subframe mount unit or a 3pt mount unit. In either case, when the backhoe is purchased, the dealer typically asks how, what, where, and why, so that you don't end up killing yourself. I have sevral B series Kubotas, as well as a Woods 650 backhoe. I have it mounted as a 3pt set-up for quicker attachment/detachment, for about fifteen years now. The only element that I beefed up was the top link bracket. This is easy enough done if you or someone you know has a welder. In any event, Kubota has a subframe specifically designed for the Woods 650 to fit on most all their units.Case in point, presently, mine sits on a B5200. All depends on how you use it. If your aggressive, and you run your engine speed too high, you'll get ajerky action on the hoe, and ultimately do some sort of damage. I've never had any problems, though not really working it commercially either. Only as hobby work for contractors.

Oh yah, almost fogot... I built a CADplans loader last year, it was a 907 model virtually the same size as what you would get from orange, only with a bigger(deeper) bucket and certainly stronger ! If you know how to weld ...Go for it you won't be disappointed - Willie ....

Kubota sells the Woods 650 Backhoes in two different fashions. One with a subframe kit, the other with a 3pt kit.
I presently have several B series Kubotas, one of which I have a Woods 650 mounted via the 3 pt set-up. It works fine. I did it this way for ease and speed of attaching and removal. The only element that I took upon myself to slightly work up was the top link bracket, just to beef it up some. If you or someone you know welds, it's a piece of cake. Keep in mind that the reason for the subframe is to keep the hoe from buckling up under extreme working conditions, as well as from keeping the tractor from splitting in half as some people tend to load their buckets and then start digging frantically. You should be fine so long as your lower link bars remain locked without any sway ability. Keep in mind that the damage is done/seen when the hoe is being operated in a jerky fashion. If the engine speed is too high, the hoe will have too high of operating pressure and become jerky to operate. eventually, this action will be the demise of the tractor, with or without the use of a subframe. As far as the loader, last year I built a Cadplans loader #970. Fits great on my tractors with minor metal modifications. Great unit and certainly more rugged than that of which Orange sells...
Try it you'll be glad you did.
